A Collegial Circle is a group of teachers who share a common goal.
They meet to develop activities that will enhance their curriculum. They may be used for in-service credit and hours toward your 100 CTLE.
How do you get one started?
The facilitator of the circle completes an application on MLP and chooses either in-service credit, or stipend. The circle may meet for a minimum of 7.5 hours and a maximum of 15.
Upon approval, the collegial circle will appear on MLP and those who are interested in joining should register as they would for any other MLP activity.
The group chooses meeting times and place. At each meeting the facilitator logs what has been discussed or completed.
The final project becomes part of the M-TRACT library for all faculty members to share
