M-TRACT

Hope everyone’s week was a restful one. I spent my week playing with my Maltese, Brooklyn, and working on our PDP. One thing that that became very clear is that many of you don’t know what Web 2.0 is. Actually, what you’re reading right now is a Web 2.0 tool. Blogs are a great way for communication and an incredible tool for the classroom. Alice Alarcon (Ames) will be sharing how she uses blogs in her English classroom in an M-TRACT class next month. Unfortunately, the class is full but I’ll ask her to teach another one. We also have classes coming up to give you an overview of Google Apps (all Web 2.0 tools) and how to create your own webiste using Google Sites.
